Purposeful Women around the globe are growing the world’s economy by opening businesses. Women owned businesses are on the rise and many of those are brick and mortar locations. The 3/50 Project focuses on small business owners with actual locations that can be visited and shopped. Their tagline? “Saving the brick and mortars our nation is built on.”
Here is a little overview from their website The350project.net:
Think about what three independently owned businesses you’d miss most if they were gone. Stop in and say hello. Pick up a little something that will make someone smile. Your contribution is what keeps those businesses around.
If half the employed U.S. population spent $50 each month in independently owned businesses, their purchases would generate more than $42.6 BILLION in revenue. Imagine the positive impact if 3/4 of the employed population did that.
Pick 3. Spend $50. Save your local economy.
As we head into the weekend – and may be looking for a last minute Mother’s Day gift, I thought that it would be worth the space here to support our locally owned and operated businesses.
Dear Readers – how many of you own your own business? Tell us about it on Facebook and include a link to your website. We want to support you!!
