Eileen at Advertising for Success recently shared her thoughts about The Working Woman’s GPS, but first a little information about what you can find over at Advertising for Success.
I enjoy reading her blog posts. She writes under the name CyberCelt – a friend of anything with fins, fur, feathers or fangs and has been blogging since 2004. That in itself is impressive. I just started blogging a little over a year ago and I know what a time commitment it is – so hats off Eileen for your perseverance and dedication.
On Advertising for Success you will find posts that help explain the new world of advertising in this interactive and global world connected through social media. There are articles on the latest trends such as Twitter as well as learning how to make money from your blog. I invite you to check it out.
As I said, she also read my book The Working Woman’s GPS: when the plan to have it all has led you astray. It means so much to hear from successful, multi-tasking, business women who are in the trenches and understand the struggle between the life we “should” have and the life we desire. Here’s a little bit of what she had to say about the book:
I read The Working Woman’s GPS, When the Plan to Have It All Has Led You Astray, by JJ DiGeronimo. GPS in this instance is short for Goals with a Sense of Purpose and Self (GPS).JJ lived in the generation that developed the Have it All mindset. The battles for equal pay, equal treatment under the law, being valued as employee versus a “girl” had been waged and won. … JJ went to other woman and listened to their stories. The inclusion of these women and their lives changed the book from a tangled web of strings to a tapestry of great beauty and utility.
